2006-07 Women's Leadership and Development Programme Grants

The Australian Government, through the Office for Women (OfW), invites applications from eligible national and state/territory based women’s non government organisations (NGOs) to undertake projects that build their capacity to improve the status of women in Australia.

The Grants
Up to $25,000 per project is available to women’s NGOs for capacity building projects that strengthen the organisation’s effectiveness and increase its capacity to contribute to the development of public policy.

The programme is not intended to fund the day-to-day operational costs of the organisation.  Applications for funding must be for outcome-based projects with tangible results that will benefit women and that will be completed within 12 months from the commencement of the Funding Agreement.
